Restoration
The Restoration Department of the Museum of the History of Riga and Navigation takes care of the preservation of the museum collection. Restoration specialists regularly inspect the collection’s objects in the museum repositories, expositions and exhibitions, provide instructions on the optimal storage of the museum collections and the need to preserve and restore the objects.
The conservation and restoration work of the collection is performed by museum restorers in the following specialties:
