Museum is closed to visitors from October 21 to November 15!
In the territory of the Republic of Latvia, from October 21, 2021 to November 15, 2021, an emergency situation has been declared in order to reduce the spread of Covid-19 infection.
In order to purposefully combat the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Latvia and jointly create conditions in which the spread of the virus in society is stopped, the government has decided to close all cultural sites for face-to-face visits and provide cultural services to the population only remotely from 21 October to 15 November 2021.
With this decision, museum premises are also closed to visitors. The Museum of the History of Riga and Navigation, in accordance with the government’s decision, is closed to visitors from October 21, 2021 to November 15, 2021.
On the museum’s website it is possible to view virtual exhibitions prepared by the museum’s historians: https://www.rigamuz.lv/rvkm/en/izstade_virtuala_eng/
Let’s look forward to a face-to-face meeting when you can safely visit museums again to enjoy the presence of history and art!
